MIDNIGHT IN NAIROBI: What TF is going on?

You are one of the biggest voices in the city today, what do you think is happening in Nairobi today?

BNSN:Everything is going on in Kenya and all over the planet,

It's no longer a local game, what we are doing is global, and it has planetary level of impact,

The days when we used to look at ourselves as mere 'locals' are gone,

Everything we are doing in Nairobi today will touch the lives of  all people on Earth,

That’s whats up in Nairobi, its really going down in Africa if you ask me,

BNSN: Its been four days since you started work back at The Address. How is it going?

BNSN:Gods plan is taking shape. I look at all the reactions we are getting on published stories and it shows me that people are paying attention to what is going on at The Address.

You have released several articles already led by Letter to Anne Mwaura, the Jinx video, the Power of Musau and Nairobi Expressways' Midnight car meets and several others…. Can you talk about that?

BNSN:Some of these articles were always meant to arrive during the roll out of the Light Work Contentainment Capsule. They were written in June and the Jinx video was packaged in May. The letter to Anne Mwaura was prompted by her Rebrand in March. She sent me the press release three months ago. So I we thought it was a good idea to make a two way communication and write her back.

The story about Nairobi Expressways' Midnight Car Meets has to be the biggest one yet. Its an article about contemporary culture and most people in the comments don’t seem to get that. We have the most culturally relevant stories out right now. I see people on Instagram leave words like 'snitch' under the Car Meets story. They don’t get it. This is the Art that Imitates Reality. We can't miss out on a chance to document what is going on in real life in this city. If there are people out at midnight burning rubber on the Expressway, we are going to take note of that. This is culture. People don’t understand its about Contemporary culture which we are very keen on perpetrating.

The reason we might lose culture is if we don’t keep records of current events. There has to be records. By telling the stories of today we are safeguarding the true history of this generation.

What made you want to release your new contentainment capsule now?

BNSN:The longer I don’t release it, the more we continue to miss out on the Light. I thought I should just publish it and continue to work on it as it rolls out. It’s a perpetual roll out. Right now, our minds want something mind blowing. We are naturally tired of hearing and seeing outdated narratives. That also motivated me to release the new stuff. I want to show people that they have options. Contentainment is one of the most appropriate options out right now and its as relatable as it gets.

How do you write your material?

BNSN:You would be surprised what you can do with words and sentences. My articles, essays, and lectures are based on the premise of Information. Every article is a remix of the other ones. I am saying the same things, repeatedly in different ways.  I look for multiple points of view to convey information and break down reality. Its like Art how I do it.
