Why To Avoid The Trap Of Having To Live Your Dreams

The meaning of life is just to be alive.  It is so plain, so obvious, and so simple. And, yet everybody rushes around with panic. Everybody rushes around with uncertain dreams as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves. The overwhelming pressure to “kuomoka” is taking so many people amiss. We all crave to be rich, silk automobiles, big machines, posh life, but on the contrary, fill in the blank. Who said it’s guaranteed? How often is your happiness destroyed by future anticipations?

The pursuit of the future and the concomitant notion that ‘always-see-a-better-tomorrow' is a big scam. If you ever think about it, it will deny you joy forever. Overcoming your fears of tomorrow is the only way to experience the best today, the amazing now-here! After all, who decreed that you will possess that v-12? Who lied to you that you will own the mansion you always wanted to? Who confused you into thinking that the future will provide you with your “ever-dreamt” millions?

I understand my argument may have some folks thinking I am a pessimist, no! Am not. I’m just a realist. I don’t deny the fact that you may have those millions. So many people have them. I am addressing the fact that it’s not imperative to have them. You don’t need to seize or sacrifice your presence to an uncertain future .. If you ever thought or dreamt of something big in the future, just remember that “your future” itself is not guaranteed. You were a bright boy in school and your teacher or lecturer assured you a rosy future. Breaking news: he simply lied to you. You have nothing to eat today, that is it! You have a million-dollars in your account, that is today, you may have nothing in the future. "Ain't none of this shit promised".

You need to seize the Present to pursue the future. You need to live life now. If you ever realized, you only have now-here! Make your now-here better by enjoying who you are, what you are, and where you are.

Many times people develop symptoms of delusions and even worse a malaise of pervasive restlessness when things go asunder. This malaise is generally out of the expectation for a rosier future. Day by day you surrender to the ontological anxiety when things don’t work out your way.

You need to get away from the elusive perception of a rosier future and live a rosier now. Contemplate your inner-self and never allow the root of discontent about the future to overwhelm you now-here.

And, when you wonder how to achieve a happy now, especially when languishing in abject poverty, just remember we are all guided by the unstoppable matching of time towards inevitable death.

Remember your hard work today for a rosier tomorrow may only benefit the stress-free coffin, the speechless soil, and the never worried termites. And, what if you wake up every morning to see your dreams not manifesting? After all you've given it? Just live life, never pursue, wake up to your daily business, maybe success will ensue someday. Maybe.
