Twenny Eights is the Problem Child of this Generation

If we are gonna get to it, let's just start with this; Coasted by Quarry Boyz Ent (the label) and formerly signed to Vicelife Ent, 28s is a member of two different rap duos.

His oldest musical brand is called TNT, and all of you are familiar with Timmy and Twenny. I want to believe that you know buddy 'nem.

We cannot be friends if you don't know what's up with Bout Paper Boyz. That's the other musical organization that boasts the membership of 28s. An observer may think that 28s is assembling Nairobi's, Kenya' s and Africa's most unfuckwithable rap gods. These are the John Wicks, and Denzel Washington's of the continental music stage. 


They probably spend most of their time in the studio going over beats, smoking foreign recreational weed, and rapping over beats trying to make a hit. 28s said it in an Instagram story. I saw it.


28s. You don't need to be an expert to know that he clearly has a solid relationship with numbers. That explains how he ended up calling himself TwennyEights, the problem child.


When I discovered what lean, codein and promethazine do to your brain, in that moment, I understood why Hiphop artists spend so much on pharmaceutical cough syrups. Part of the reason why 28s caught my eye and snatched my attention is because he is one of the 7 rappers in the country who talks about these stuff in his music. Codein isn't cheap and purple dranks are an expensive taste.


This may come off paradoxixal, but money isn't a problem to the Problem Child of Africa's rap. Posing with money and throwing money is what 28s does when he is not busy making another rap song in his studio. Buddy pushes a Benz, and if you saw his 2018 video with Jovie Jovv, you would know he has access to very many other whips. Welcome to the fast life of Twenny Eights.


I love to see it. Jinx, who is led by his reputation, must have seen 28s vision when he signed up as an executive with the Quarry Boyz-TNT-Bout Paper Boyz musical industrial complex. You have to share the vision in order to be successful with artists like 28s. 


It's easy to put a finger on what Twenny represents. He is gifted with the ability to make art with words, he talks his shit, makes great hooks and writes sick verses. And he has money, cool whips and a solid catalog of records. He represents whats possible with self expression. If he can keep up with his own pace, 28s will finish the race he started when he arrived on earth, hopefully 28 years ago.
